TLDR

I joined Yas and Nat on The Course Creation Podcast to talk about marketing. Building the course is one job. Getting the right people to buy it is a different job, and it is the one most creators underestimate.

Make the offer clear

Most course marketing is fuzzy because the offer is fuzzy. Simplify down to one clear outcome. What does the buyer walk away able to do? Name your process for that result and keep it to a few steps.

A premium problem can carry a premium price. Belief comes before price, so if you are not sure the outcome is worth it, fix the offer before you touch the marketing.

Speak to the buyer, not about yourself

The marketing that works is the marketing that shows people you understand where they are stuck. People buy when they feel understood, not when they understand you. So lead with their problem, not your feature list.

If you are packaging a live version of your teaching, I went deeper on that in marketing a live learning cohort.
